"We booked Bethnal&Bec for our wedding night and following night in July and we were so impressed with everything... the perfect getaway/hideaway so close to home! The little hamper of breakfast essentials meant we could have our first breakfast as man and wife in the privacy of our lodge and thank you for the thoughtful gift of complimentary prosecco! We would highly recommend B&B for a romantic getaway! We also visited a nearby pub, The Bull which is a 5 min walk away, for a delicious meal if you fancy getting out and about! We had a fantastic stay, thank you to Bethnal&Bec for making it special for us."

"Just spent a wonderful relaxing weekend in Bec, beautiful surroundings didn’t want to leave!
Spent the evening watching the sun go down with a glass of wine in the hotub fabulous!!
Spoiled ourselves with the food add ons, the local farm provides amazing steaks which the owners brought to our door, brilliant service. Can’t fault it, absolutely just what we needed to unwind can’t recommend it enough and we hope to get back soon. Thank you Chris and Vicki for your excellent customer service xx."

"Wow, just wow! Every, and I mean, every detail has been thought of here. From the personalised message at the car port and the birthday message you are made to feel very looked after by Vicky & Chris.
We stayed in Bethnal. I stood and gawped for the first 15 minutes...the decor is beautiful and the setting is so relaxing and picturesque.
Biggest list of staples I have ever seen, fridge, freezer and pantry stuffed full of artisan goodies.
Double rainforest shower, double bath that looks out to incredible views...candles...bath bombs.
Secluded hot tub made for two. Surreal being in the hot tub whilst it was snowing!
All state of the art technology...from mood lighting in the kitchen to the sensored nightlights in the bathroom everything has been thought of to make your stay...well, just so easy.
Bethnal caters for dogs too and was well stocked with bowls, treats and toys.
I have already recommended this glorious bolthole to many friends...my only regret is booking for just 1 night.
Oh well, Bec next time!"

"We arrived to a personalised message. When we came in the underfloor heating was on, the log fire was ready to be lit and the hot tub was warmed up and ready to get into. We had been provided with lots of staples like bread, milk, cheese , bacon etc. There were also foods and drinks that you could buy at a very reasonable price.
There was a twin bath and rain shower which were both lovely and dressing gowns were provided. A cinema screen and projector are available to use along with Netflix, I player and a range of dvds.
All in all we had a perfect weekend at Bec and can not wait to go back again!"

"Once we had watched the sunset from the hot tub, we had some tasty food from the pantry which is extremely reasonably priced, and snuggled in front of the log burner watching Netflix.
The complimentary food that is provided was very generous, especially enjoyed the duck eggs.
A beautiful view from the bath tub in the main room and the double shower was huge!
Over all the stay was so peaceful and relaxing and would highly recommend this beautiful get away."

"If you want to venture out into the country side, this part of the world is truly what we all have in mind when think of England's green & pleasant land. Its William Blake's Jerusalem with good pubs, invigorating walks and subtle vistas.
But you will not want to go much further than the hot tub or the apple orchard. This is a retreat. Shut the doors, put an LP on the record player and relax with the one you love. Cook breakfast or have a late, late lie in and maybe snack in bed with a box set. Take a luxuriant bath or simply relax by the log fire and stare at the stars.
If you need a break to de-stress, refocus or have quality time with your significant other then take a break at the Bethnal & Bec. Escape the rat race and wonder, like me, why you ever returned to reality!"

"We had the most amazing weekend break at Bethnal & Bec. The retreats are decorated in a style I would call ‘East London’ - for a city feel in a beautiful rural setting. Great facilities include well appointed kitchen, ambient lighting controlled by an iPad, controllable heating, very comfortable bed, lounge area and double shower. Loved the addition of the honesty bar and the record player, with an eclectic record collection. Perhaps the highlight of our stay was putting the music on, relaxing in the private hot tub and looking up at the stars when it was snowing. A really magical experience.
Also worth doing were the country walks, Sunday lunch in the local pubs (we went to the Jolly Waggoner), and the nearest town was a pretty place for a wander with lots of small shops and the most amazing cheese shop which is a must for any cheese lover.
We had a great time at Bethnal & Bec and would highly recommend!"

"We have just returned from an anniversary trip to Bec and cannot recommend it enough. We were on the cusp of booking a couple of nights in an amazing hotel in the Cotswolds when I was recommended to look here and so glad we did, not least because it was better value for three nights here than two in the Cotswolds.
If you're looking for genuine relaxation, I thoroughly recommend. It has a huge hot tub, a bath for two and a cinema screen that drops down so you can binge watch box sets to your heart's content!"

"We stayed in Bethnal and it was spacious but cosy, has absolutely everything you could possibly need and the complimentary treats were greatly received . You can tell a lot of love and attention has gone into creating this place and is worth every penny . I think I spent the first 30 minutes just looking round saying “wow they’ve thought of everything, look how cute this is”. Thank you so much for the amazing stay and starting off my birthday right.
Plus, being able to watch Netflix in the bath whilst seeing the amazing view… that’s all I need to say
Thank you again

"I had the most fantastic experience at this place! The owners have literally thought of everything in order to make this an enjoyable stay; from the impeccable decor, he cosy wood fire, hot tub, the projector where you can watch netflix, free breakfast items, sundries, gin and whiskey, this place is a luxury retreat indeed. It was for my birthday, and the room was decorated with bunting, balloons and a cake! I wish I could live here! Hope to be going back very very soon! Thanks so much Bethnal and Bec!"

"What a brilliant stay we had at Bethnal as a last minute visit with our puppy. We have highly recommended Chris’ accommodation to friends and family already and definitely planning our next visit. Brilliant place to bring a dog, lots of lovely pubs and coffee shops nearby. Very well thought out stylish cabin with the most incredible amenities. Can’t thank you enough for a lovely night stay. Just wish we could be back already!"

"I would highly recommend this spot to anyone, Chris and Vicky have created not only an amazing space but an unbeatable experience! Located in a lovely village, with a top notch pub, this place offers a touch of contemporary chic luxury in a traditional and beautiful country setting. The perfect place for a romantic getaway or more, our apartment was cosy and self contained yet had everything we could dream of and more!"
